DeHart provides consulting services in the area of supply chain strategy, advising clients in the areas of commodity management procurement processes, and procurement contract development. Many procurement management questions arise in the process and are typically addressed in turn:

  • What elements should our procurement contracts contain?
  • Are we expecting enough out of our suppliers?
  • What web-based technologies can add value to our supply relationships?
  • How do we assess the performance of our supply partners?  Technology, Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery, Capacity, Sustainability?

DeHart uses tools such as our Procurement Agreement Assessment document to develop an objective measure of the strength of a client's  supplier agreements.

Fujitsu's global supply chain management operations determined based on a build versus buy manufacturing cost tradeoff to develop a relationship with a dedicated II-V semiconductor foundry operation.  This operation's headquarters was located in the US and the company was establishing a larger operation in Taiwan.

DCI's strategic procurement staff developed and implemented a multi-year semiconductor foundry agreement with a domestic GaAs foundry wafer manufacturer.
